For four decades, families, friends, and neighbors have lined the streets to kick off the holiday season with festive floats, marching bands, community groups, and of course…a special appearance from Santa himself!

This milestone year promises to be bigger and brighter than ever as we celebrate 40 years of holiday cheer and community spirit. Whether you’re watching from the sidelines, marching with your group, or sponsoring this time-honored event, the parade is the perfect way to ring in the holiday season together.

This year’s theme, “A Grand Ole Christmas,” promises to fill the streets with twinkling lights, festive floats, and plenty of holiday cheer. For four decades, families, friends, and neighbors have gathered to celebrate the season with marching bands, community groups, local businesses, and—of course—a special appearance from Santa himself! And for the first time in over a decade, we will “Light up the Night!" with illuminated floats!

In honor of the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary, this year’s parade will be themed “A Grand Ole Christmas” with the Opry serving as honorary Grand Marshal. Artists, staff and friends from Nashville’s most iconic stage look forward to taking part in this hometown celebration – just one week after the Opry’s official 100th anniversary show on Nov. 28 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Donelson.

As part of the festivities, there will be a special tribute to longtime Grand Ole Opry member and Donelson resident Jeannie Seely, recognizing her remarkable career and deep ties to the community. Seely, who performed on the Opry 5,397 times, was a member for 58 years.
